Knowing that the kids would be home for four days we took a look at "The Crafty Crow" and picked out some crafts to do. We gathered up plastic bugs, squishy body parts, and even a cave man from the toy boxes. Added some water and a little dye.

I love the jars of creepy parts. That is the coolest idea. I start getting nervous when my kids have vacations from school now too. I didn't realize how much of a difference it is to have almost two kids at school. I don't know what I am going to do when my parents leave for their mission. I have become dependent upon them also for activities, babysitting, cooking, carpooling, housekeeping, etc. Yikes!!!!
Your craft ideas look like a lot of fun. I think Hugo and I need to get going in the craft department. Oh, and I love your witch's broom and hats by the fireplace! Marge would be proud. You should take a pic with the kids near by and send it off to her. You'll be at the top of her list! And if you didn't know that she has a list, well, she most certainly does have a LIST!
The googly eye pictures are so adorable! i laughed so hard. and yes we did move ;) i am so excited we have a FRENCH door!!! i will post pics as soon as it is unpacked!! it is only an hour and a half form moms which is a big plus.
I'm so glad you've embraced the craft crow!! I was looking at doing some of the same crafts. Luke is totally pumped about the creepy jars and eyeball frames!! So FUN!!!
Love the decorations! I hope your illness is short lived. I was sick a week ago and it was a bummer. I think Cody and I are going to be a bride and groom. Is that silly? I was going for cheap. Cody isn't sure on the groom. I think he wants to be a pirate. If I could find a plain yellow shirt, Keegan is going to be Charlie Brown but I've searched everywhere and no luck!
A bridge and groom....lame-o...
Yu have so much talent! Go with the pirate thing. There are lots of "things" around to help with the costumes, etc.
Couldn't you put striped socks on Keegan then.. get an old pair of jeans and rip them up the leg a bit. Wrap one leg in brown bandages and make it look like a peg! He can't walk anyhow.
Sorry about that! I got a phone call in the middle of reading the messages and thought I had moved onto Lizzie's site, instead, if I would have been paying attention, I would have noticed that I was still attached to yours!
I was sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Hope you didn't pick something up at the hotel.
