We woke up to winter on Saturday. The temperature is in the 30's this weekend. It snowed, flurried, all day on Saturday and some on Sunday. It was great to get warm and toasty by the fire. The kids love it when we build one. It ultimatley leads to...
....dinner by the woodburner. Actually, everything by the fire - meals, playing games, getting dressed, even napping.
..and Spaghetti faces.

so cute! i just love days like that. that is one of the things i miss (for only a minute) about living where the snow flies! it's so fun to curl up by the fire, have hot chocolate, or just stay in b/c it's chilly outside!

Hi Kristene!

I discovered your blog through Millie's and I think it is so pretty! It's nice to see the kids and peeks into your new house. I suppose it isn't so new to you anymore but Cesar and I haven't been out that direction in eons. So, your current house is a new house to me! I'm gonna add you to my blog roll.

It's good to catch up on the kids.
But SNOW?
I'm not quite ready for that yet. I think we have the same storm right now, but we (thankfully) only have rain. But I will miss the fireplace this year. You really get attached to that wonderful heat and the soothing dance and crackle. Ho hum...

Cody's parents got a foot of snow! I'm still wearing flip flops and I still mow my yard every Saturday. We have turned the heat on though since it gets chilly at night. Can't wait to see you all at New Years... we're showing up even if we're not invited. :o) I need family!

It snowed over here too, and Ephraim is home! He has been keeping the woodstove burning! It has been nice. I like the spaghetti faces!
