Addi has a history of coming in our room around midnight. She is not awake and never remembers it. She sometimes just stands by the bed (creepy), sometimes goes into our bathroom, uses the potty and then heads back upstairs. She once took off her clothes and peed on the stairs. Two nights ago she came into our room. Joshua and I had just gotten into bed. She walks into the bathroom and sits on the potty fully clothed. Josh and I are yelling, "Hold on, don't pee yet!" But - she does, right through her pajamas. Josh looks at me and says, "Ah, I'm gonna let you handle this one." The next morning she asks, "Where did my pajamas go?" She cracks me up. She slept in her tent in her room last week and woke up the next morning on the floor. She yelled at me the next morning for taking her out of the tent - sleep walker!!

So is this fair warning for New Years? Do we need to watch where we sleep in case we're to get peed on? I call a room with a lock. Cody is behind me saying "poor Addi."
It's pretty clear that she's waking up to go to the bathroom, but how to get her to simply go UPSTAIRS... and then go back to bed...now that's a dilemma. Perhaps she simply needs a "potty run" awake or not, just before you go to bed each night. We used to do that now and then for several of the kids...her Daddy for one!
I used to sleep walk, but not as young as Addi. It's a cute story even though I'm sure you're not pleased with the extra laundry...
