We received an email offering us a killer deal on this cruise if we signed up within so many hours. The deal was so good that not only did we jump at the chance, but so did seven other couples. We sailed with Royal Caribbean, Independence Of the Seas. The ship is there newest and largest boat. The cruise took place in February.

This shot looks like there are two boats here, however, it's just one. The boat had surfing, a rock wall, miniature golf and virtual golfing. A movie theater, casino, many many restaurants. A mall, multiple pools, gym, ice skating rink, and much more entertainment.

This and the next shop are what they call the "Promenade." It is a mini mall. There are shops, along with a pizza place, coffee shop, sandwich shop, ice cream, and pub. All free!! You can bet I gained those 10 lbs. that I'd worked my butt off for three months back in a mere 10 days. Yes, our vacation was 10 days long, and no, I did not miss my kids too much. (I knew they were in good hands :)

They had parades and disco dances down the Promenade. I walkway dropped from the ceiling and bands played. It was very fun.

This is the dining room. This photo does it no justice. It was beautiful. Three stories high and absolutely gorgeous. It reminded me of the dining room the movie Titanic. I ate so much that I could not fit into the jeans that I'd worn on the plane there-on the way home. In fact I am still trying to lose the rest of it. It sure was yummy though!!

WOW!!! I want to go on a cruise. I bet you guys had so much fun, awesome! I made Trent promise that we'd spend our tax return on a trip next year...no matter what! We'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary and he'll be graduating from residency so he has no choice...double whammy!
