What's new with me?

I do have pictures to post from the circus. Our first venture there with the kids - they loved it. Will do that soon. So...I got a job! I am so excited. I am teaching a spinning class at the gym. This is the perfect class for me to teach. For one, the bikes don't go anywhere, and second, I do not have to remember an intense routine and try to talk through the whole thing. It is a beginner class - so it shouldn't be to bad. I am worried about making it easy enough for beginners, yet hard enough to keep it interesting. I have been doing spinning for a year - but I am an all out kind of gal. I figure if I'm gonna get all geared up I might as well get the most out of it. So that will be a challenge for me. I start next week!! I was also diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis last week. It is a foot thing. The muscles on the bottom of my right foot have stretched out. They consequently inflame, swell, and make it painful to walk. It's been painful to walk, on and off, for over a year, but has gotten a lot worse this summer. I had to buy shoe insoles and have to do foot stretches daily, but ultimately there is not much to do for it. It is pretty common in runners (check), people who where heals ALL the time (check), and overweighters (not check yet :).

What a fun job! I'm working as a substitute for 2 days a week. I don't want to be away from Keegan for much longer. So far he runs into the daycare the moment I set him down- they have oodles of toys. I have quickly learned how I rate.

Congratulations on the job! I bet you'll be a perfect teacher and very inspiring to your students. I'd take a class from you! I'm gonna need it once these girls are out.

Ok, great, now your thighs/butt will ALWAYS be smaller than mine & I'll be kickin' myself to get more in shape. But that's good--& you are an inspiration! :) Sorry to hear about the p.f. stuff--ouch. Tell Josh to give you foot rubs. ha!
miss you, -M

Kristene, hello there...I stopped blogging for a little while, but I am going to try it again...my kids are sitting here with me and love to see all of the pictures of Cameron, Addi, Zach, and Kade. It sounds like you are still super busy. Spinning sounds so hard! My little sister and my mom both have plantar fascitis. My neighbor is a foot doctor and he gave my mom a brace that she wears at night and she does some stretches. I think my mom said it helps? I'm sorry about that. I know the doctor said he recommends a particular brand of shoe and I can't remember if it was Asics or Saucony or New Balance. I'm sorry this is probably not helping...
Anyway, Daphne loved looking at the pictures of Addie's party! She wants to know who won the milk drinking contest? What a cute party! I love Hello Kitty too! I hope you guys are doing well!
