Every year we decorate a gingerbread house as a family. Josh likes to insist that no one eat any of it till after Christmas. Have you ever tried to keep four little sets of hands out of candy that is sitting on the table for everyone to admire - NOT GOOD!! The house is still in one piece, although some of the shingles and windows have disappeared, along with a fence and some shrubs.
